The Periodic Table
The Periodic Table is a chemical index created by Dmitri Mendeleev, a Russian chemist,
which displays all of the elements discovered by man, and theoretically predicted by man.
For the website I coded, I have placed links onto each classified category which also
contains every element as well as a very brief description of all the elements and categories.
Mendeleev organized the atoms using their atomic number in order to group them in an orderly
fashion that coincides with atomic, physical, and chemical traits. These elements are broken
up into specified categories including noble gases, metalloids, lanthanides and etc. Elements
are generally described by being either metals or nonmetals. Metals normally being good
conductors of heat and energy, such as copper, gold, and platinum while non metals are
typically less conductive, like Oxygen, Helium, and Krypton. An atoms atomic mass has to do
with the amount of mass each element would have if a mole of the substance was
present. Some of these lighter elements are hydrogen, helium, lithium, beryllium and boron which
were/are created in stars using nuclear fusion and some of the heavier elements
such as iron were later formed in stars near the end of their life cycles which led to the creation
	of solar systems.
